Shelton State to Host NJCAA Women's Soccer District Tournament

Shelton State Women's Soccer team finished their regular season on 10/25/05 with a 7-1 win over Bossier Parish Community College with anoverall season recordof 11-5-1. Shelton will now advance to the NJCAA District F Championships to face Hiwassee College. The other semi-final match will feature Darton College vs. Polk Community College. The winner of each semi-final match will play on Saturday to determine which team will advance to the national tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

12:00PM - Darton College (Georgia State Champion)vs. Polk Community College (Florida State Champion)

2:30PM - Shelton State Community College (Alabama State Champion)vs. Hiwassee College (Tennessee State Champion)

Saturday, November 5th, 2005

2:00PM - Winner of game 1 vs. Winner of game 2
