The Lady Bears were on the road Tuesday for an afternoon date with Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phoenix City. Bevill State dominated from start to finish claiming a 79-50 victory going into the Christmas break.
The Lady Bears were led in scoring by Dione Parks who had 21 points on 8 of 11 shooting. Ashley Martin and Renate Lope each had 15 points in the win. Martin pulled down a team high 7 rebounds on the afternoon.
?This was a nice way to go into the break.? Bevill State Coach Joe Richardson said. ?We need to carry the momentum from this win into January when we begin conference play.?
The win improved the Lady Bears record to 11-3 overall. The Lady Bears will have a near month break before playing again. BSCC will play Wallace State-Selma at home on January 5th at 5:30.
