CACC Prepares for Season Opener

With onlyfour returning sophomores, the Lady Trojans try to prepare theeight freshmen for the intesity and excitement of the annual ACCC season opener. This year the Lady Trojans are anchored byfour sophomores: All region outside, Haley Henderson; libero, Lindsey Hill; right side/defensive specialist Porsha Lilly; and middle hitter Imesia Saxton. All four sophomores gained valuable playing time last year, and are all leading the eight incoming freshmen. Some freshmen will immediately contribute to the court including Abbey Green, setter; Sarah Thacker, right side; and Hagen Vickers, outside; Kasi Pardue, middle; and Ariel Carpenter, outside. Sitting out for the first is Autumn Godfrey which has severe tendonitis, Amanda Hood with shoulder problems, and Jordan Wheeler who is red-shirted. The Lady Trojans are glad to have added depth to their team this year, and are lookingforward to seeing some real action! Good luck Lady Trojans!!
