The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawks baseball team will begin their 2009 season on Wednesday February 4th. The Warhawks will host the Pirates of Pensacola Jr. College in a single nine inning contest beginning at 1:00 p.m.
The Warhawks return sixteen sophomores from last years squad. These sophomores received substantial amounts of playing time as freshmen and should bring a considerable amount of experience to the 2009 Warhawks campaign.
To go along with the experienced sophomores, Coach Darrell Blevins brought in a freshmen class of players that would rival any. A combination of talent, determination, and nack for playing to thier highest level is sure to make this collection of new Warhawks exciting for all spectators.
