The 2010 Marion Military Institute Tigers will be starting their season Jan. 30 in Fort Worth, Texas, taking on New Mexico Military Institute.8 players return from the 2009 season, and the Tigers have added many freshmen that should compete for time on the diamond.

The outfield will be anchored by 5 guys, Luis Pollorena (Laredo, TX), Christian Castro (Lake Charles, LA), Evan Harris (Sulphur, LA), Jarius Brown (Jonesboro, GA), and Blake DeBacher (Miami, FL).
Craig Herrmann(Fort Worth, TX) and Chris Allen (Lake Worth, FL) return to the infield this season, since starting all of the 2009 campaign.Brad Hedges will anchor down the first base duties this year. Newcomers Frank Mora (Houston, TX), Dillan Rainwater (DeQuincy, LA), Ryan Hudnall (Houston, TX), and Scott Delaney (Lake Worth, FL) will all compete for time in the infield.
Behind the dishJon Carnahan(Beaumont, TX) and Zach Vick (Mouton, AL) return as sophomore leaders in 2010.
The pitching staff had some big additions in the off season, but returners Jordan Langley (Sealy, TX) and Jonathan Jones (Fort Walton, FL) will be the leaders. New pitchers include Jandy Sena (Miami, FL), Roberto Tang (Miami, FL), Kevin Smith (Houston, TX), Matt Trawick (Tuscaloosa, AL), Jim Caporali (Nashville, TN), Daniel Sawyer (Houston, TX), and John Ferrell (Albany, GA).
Should be an exciting year for the Tigers!!
