This year served as the first collegiate season for Wallace-Selma's nine freshmen, while the team?s six talented sophomores officially began their final campaign wearing the red, white and blue.
First year guards Shawnese Armstead, Shelete Banks, Vinecia Dudley, Lakeisha Jackson, Joy Jones and Porsha Johnson joined freshmen post players Daphne Green, Krystal Walker and Rekina Crawford.
The freshmen should benefit from a solid group of returning players, led by Michelle Cottrell and Ebony Jones two sophomores from Montgomery, AL. Michelle Keith and Shaerica Wilkins are two talented guards from Georgia. Sophomore Kimberly Broadnax and Britney Harris round out the talented collection of veterans.
Over all I think this team will shape up to be something special for the 2006-2007 season.
