Lawson State

        Lawson State Community College is an urban two-year college located in Birmingham, Alabama. Lawson offers students a program of quality education at a low cost through programs designed to assist students in developing morally, intellectually, socially, and physically within their environment. Our mission is to provide educational programs and services that are flexible, comprehensive, accessible, and community related. Students are given the opportunity to correct educational deficiencies, develop skills for life-long learning, and develop occupational competencies in a changing society.
