Shelton State

        Shelton State Community College fields five athletic teams: baseball, softball, men’s and women’s basketball, and women’s soccer.  We compete in Division I of the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).  Shelton State Athletics consistently ranks at the top of their division in all sports, most recently having won the 2003 State Championship in men’s basketball and the 2000 & 2002 State Championships in women’s basketball.  Additionally, Shelton State has a co-ed cheerleading squad and a Dance Team.
