Clifford Outlin - 1989
Clifford was born October 25, 1986, in
Birmingham, Alabama. After completing his high education in the spring of 1971,
he entered John C. Calhoun Community College.
A sprinter on the John C. Calhoun State
Community College track teams during the 1971-72 and 1972-73 seasons, Clifford
Outlin was named as an All-American in Indoor Track for the 60-yard dash and for
the 100-yard dash in Outdoor Track. He still holds numerous track records at
Calhoun. Outlin continued his track career at Auburn University. He tied the
world indoor record for the 60-yard dash in Moscow in 1975 while running for the
United States. A graduate from Auburn University with a degree in physical
Education, Outlin is employed by the City of Birmingham Parks and Recreation
Department.
