Jacquise Moore
BASKETBALL MEN
Sophomore guard Jacquise Moore should provide quality leadership for the Lions in 2012-13 as they seek back-to-back state championship titles and the college's third in four seasons.
Moore, a Concord, N.C. native, averaged 12.1 points and 5.8 rebounds last season, both outputs good for second on the team, and added a team-high 59 steals.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Moore was an ACCC All-Tournament selection during Wallace State's impressive championship run last season. The Lions' success in 2012-13 will rely heavily on Moore's production.
"Jacquise is one of our three returning starters. He finished last season on a high note and is poised to pick up where he left off and become a strong leader for our team," said Wallace State coach John Meeks.
