Lauren Beason, a sophomore setter from Springville, Alabama, is a leader not only on the volleyball team but also in the classroom. Beason, who sports a 4.00 GPA in general studies, leads the team with 6.05 assists per game including a career high 35 assist against Southern Union on September 23, 2009. Asecond team All-Region selection in 2008 is on schedule to graduate in May from Bevill State.
